The Custom Process
To create the custom piece of your dreams all you need is an idea, a picture or drawing. We can use your existing gemstones, if you have any, or supply the gems to create a one of a kind, made to order, piece just for you.
The process takes 6-8 weeks. Once the vision is evident, we can give you an out-the-door price before any work begins. We will create your vision in one of two ways. Some designs dictate that a CAD (Computer Aided Design) would be the best option to create the design. A CAD rendering will be emailed to you and any and all changes can be made before the piece is cast. The second casting style is a lost wax casting. As the name suggest the design is carved out of wax. While in the wax state the design can be modified as much as need be to ensure the piece will look exactly as you hope.
After the design is approved, it’s ready to be cast. If the piece is to be cast in 14K white or yellow gold, we cast those in house. If the piece is being cast in platinum or palladium, the casting is done off site due to the degree of heat required for the process. All stone setting and final polishing is done in house.
