Jack Seibert Goldsmith & Jeweler specializes in the creation and design of fine jewelry. Our designers have been awarded with several awards, including three Spectrum Awards which are sponsored by the American Gem Trade Association and statewide honors offered by the Ohio Jewelers Association. The breathtaking platinum and gemstone creations shown here have recently earned 16 of our designers the Platinum Honors which is a special category in the annual AGTA Spectrum Awards competition. Now in its fifth year, Platinum Honors is an exciting opportunity for designers to demonstrate their creativity and design sense through the combined medium of colored gemstones and precious platinum.
Of the more than 300 entries to the Spectrum Awards competition, 86 qualified for Platinum Honors considerations. Entries were judged on their originality, beauty and the innovative and effective use of platinum.
The 2000 Platinum Honors judges were Jill Newman of Basel Magazine, Alishan Halebian of Alishan and Gary Gordon of Samuel Gordon Jewelers. The 2000 AGTA Spectrum Award Platinum Honors Collection were shown at the AGTA GemFair in Tucson, Arizona, from February 2-7, 2000.
