Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair

I recently had a set of custom earrings made based on my design. I was very pleased with the outcome and the skill of the artist. MY husband saw how pleased I was with the earrings; he had the artist make a Pendant that was made to match the previously crafted earrings as a surprise for my birthday. The artist crafted as he thought was the correct size etc. They are perfect!!! They were crafted on very short notice but they were ready in time for my birthday. The price was on the upper end, but it proves you get what you pay for!

A pair of gold dangle earrings (over 35 years old and very delicate) needed to be repaired (soldered).

Comments: 
The overall service performed by Jack Seibert Goldsmith Jeweler was very pleasing. After going to three other jewelers to see if the earrings could be repaired, I looked on a review site for recommended jewelers. Of the three jewelers I initially checked into, one suggested that the earrings would not be worth repairing. The other two jewelers only gave verbal quotes as to how much it would cost to repair the earrings and both were over $150 with a repair time of at least 30 days or more.

Not having a good feeling from the first three jewelers, took time and checked out a review site of recommended Jewelers ( I know should have started with a review site - lesson learned). Jack Seibert Goldsmith Jeweler was the first on the list so I started with them.

Took the earrings in the sales associate, took them back to the gemologist to see if they could be repaired. Yes they could be repaired. The associate quoted a price and time frame for the repair, both less than what was previously quoted by other jewelers. A picture of the earrings was taken and appeared on the receipt (love the professionalism). The earrings were ready for pick-up 10 days from the day they were dropped off for repair.

Strongly recommend Jack Seibert Goldsmith Jewelers for anyone looking for a good jeweler. In addition, as an FYI - Lane Ave is currently under construction making entrance to Seibert Goldsmith Jeweler a little tricky to get into.

Overall experience was good. I thought the time to get the work done might have been a little long, but I was in no hurry to have the work done anyway. Their estimated time to perform the work and the actual were pretty much the same. Price was less than the estimate I received from another company

We bought a ring for our daughter's birthday and a gold chain for my mother at Jack Seibert.

Comments:
My mother died a week ago. The ring cost $1300.00 and the chain cost $300.00. I shopped there a few months ago as I wanted some rings sized. I didn't spend that much then. The 2 women we dealt with were the sales people and they were very nice, very cordial, and very accommodating. When we first went in, they had to buzz us in which isn't the case at every jewelry store. We lost our jeweler and were looking for a new jeweler. They were pleasant. They did things in a timely manner. They said they would have my rings sized within a certain number of days and they did. I had gotten a referral from someone who has dealt with them for 20 years or more. I felt they would be trustworthy and I could leave my diamond and not worry about it. When I was scouting around for my daughter's ring, I went to several jewelry stores. I found that I did not care for one of their competitors. They ignored me and I was not happy. I didn't even think of going back there even though it is a very old, established and well thought of jewelry store. So overall, I liked Jack Seibert a lot. The quality of their service was good. The price was not unfair, but I would not say that it was great either.

Replaced a missing diamond in my wedding ring and repaired several prongs that hold the diamonds.

They were very professional and did an excellent job fixing my ring. I was impressed by their attention to detail. The length of time to fix my ring was longer than expected, but it was well worth it. I feel like they did a good job.

For my 25th wedding anniversary, I wanted to update my wedding ring. It was a simple solitaire setting. I wanted a new setting using 3 diamonds, they helped me to design a ring to meet my expectations and Jeff cast it exactly as they said they would. They even bought my old gold to use towards the price of the new ring.

I started out at another well known jeweler that I had shopped at for years but felt they didn’t meet my needs.. they had me looking at catalogues of bands. Advised me to look online .... Nothing appealed to me.. maybe it was my price range, but I felt disappointed. I had driven past JackSeiberts shop for years. but never felt the need to stop.. I like jewelry, but not extravagant pricey pieces.. but I want quality. I saw an ad in magazine, which prompted me to check them online. I liked what I saw on their website, so I decided to stop in. The sales help was wonderful.. they helped me to understand differences in gold, silver, platinum, palladium, various design options, settings. I was apprehensive but knew I wanted a new setting to celebrate 25 years of marriage . My first visit was to scope things out.. I left with ALL this knowledge and felt confident. I returned to view pictures of all kinds of unique jewelry designs, not just the mass-produced bands you see in catalogues.. I selected designs from 3 rings, combined into my own unique setting. The Goldsmith came up with a sketch of my design- AWESOME! Anything I wanted, they could add/remove in the design.. the choice was mine.. in less than 8 weeks, I was wearing my new personally designed unique ring. I am extremely pleased with my ENTIRE experience. The staff was all pleasant, the store is relaxed but elegant. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Comments: 
Took ring in to be repaired. Took approximately one week to complete the repairs. Ring looks better than it has in 10 years. I will be taking it back to be professionally cleaned more often!
